Day 3: Bosphorus & Modern Istanbul

Day 4: Fly to Cappadocia
After breakfast, fly to Cappadocia (1.5-hour domestic flight to Kayseri or Nevşehir). Transfer to your unique cave hotel in Göreme or Ürgüp. Afternoon tour of the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO site with rock-cut churches and Byzantine frescoes from the 10th-12th centuries. After breakfast, visit Derinkuyu or Kaymaklı Underground City, an ancient multi-level refuge used by early Christians. Walk through Pigeon Valley. Afternoon pottery workshop in Avanos village and visit to a carpet weaving cooperative. Evening Turkish Night show with folk dancing, music, and traditional dinner.

Day 6: Drive to Pamukkale
Scenic 6-7 hour drive across Anatolia to Pamukkale with lunch stop at a traditional restaurant en route. Arrive in Pamukkale late afternoon and check into your thermal hotel. Evening visit to the stunning white calcium travertine terraces and optional swim in Cleopatra's Pool, an ancient thermal pool with submerged Roman columns.

Day 7: Pamukkale & Transfer to Kuşadası
Early morning walk on the Pamukkale Travertine Terraces (UNESCO site) - remove shoes to walk on the white formations created by thermal springs.
